Barcelona has so many points of interest, so much culture, so much life that it was difficult to choose what to see and what areas to focus on. In the two days that we’ve been there we decided to leave home early in the morning and only come back at night after dinner, we didn’t want to waste even a second.
Unfortunately in two days we disn’t see everything we wanted, but we managed to go to Sagrada Familia and la Pedrera, enter the Casa Batló (it’s so beautiful !!), visit the park guell and do some shopping on the Ramblas.
Whenever I go to European cities I like to look for vintage shops. The fast fashion stores are the same everywhere, so I always try to find new stores. Barcelona doesn’t have a strong vintage culture like other European cities, such as Paris or London, but in the Ramblas we asked all the locals we found where the vintage shopping area was, we walked through very dubious streets and we managed to find it! We entered three or four, we were already hopeless because the vintage we found was not what we were looking for, it had no quality, it was in poor condition until .. The last store we entered we discovered a world of second hand pieces in great state and at a very affordable prices! Of course, we lost an entire afternoon trying the whole store but I brought some unique pieces that I love and will be forever linked to this trip. The earrings from the last look I showed you around here are one of those acquisitions. So the tip I leave you here is whenever you go to a European city, don’t waste time in fast fashion stores, search, ask the locals and discover new places and brands, it's always worth it! Barcelona tem tantos pontos de interesse, tanta cultura, tanta vida que foi difícil escolhermos o que ver e em que zonas nos focarmos. Nos dois dias em que lá estivemos decidimos sair bem cedinho de casa e só voltar à noite, não quisemos desperdiçar nem um segundo.
Em dois dias não conseguimos ver tudo o que queríamos, mas conseguimos passar pela Sagrada Família e pela Pedrera, entrar na casa Batló (vale tanto a pena!!), visitar o parque guell e fazer umas comprinhas pelas Ramblas.
Sempre que vou a cidades europeias gosto de procurar por lojas vintage. As lojas de fast fashion são iguais em todas as cidades, é mais do mesmo, por isso aposto sempre em conhecer lojas novas. Barcelona não tem tanto a cultura de lojas Vintage como outras cidades Europeias, como Paris ou Londres, mas andamos pelas Ramblas a perguntar a todos os locais que encontramos onde era a zona das lojas vintage, passamos por ruas muuuito duvidosas e consguimos encontrar! Entramos em três ou quatro, já estávamos a desanimar porque o vintage que encontramos não era o que procurávamos, não tinha qualidade, eram peças em mau estado até que.. Na última em que entramos descobrimos um mundo de peças de marca em segunda mão em ótimo estado e a preços muito acessíveis! Claro que perdemos um fim de tarde inteiro a experimentar a loja toda mas trouxe peças únicas que adoro e que vão estar para sempre associadas a esta viagem. Os brincos do último look que vos mostrei por aqui são uma dessas aquisições. Por isso a dica que vos deixo é sempre que forem a uma cidade europeia, não percam tempo em lojas de fast fashion, pesquisem, perguntem aos locais e descubram sítios e marcas novas, vale sempre tanto a pena!
